Topic: Climate Change, Fossil-Fuel Pollution and Health: What Should Health Professionals know and What Can We Do?

How to identify individuals and populations at particular risk for complications from climate change and air pollution and to take actions (such as patient education, advocacy, and improving practice sustainability) to reduce harms.

Activity Objectives: 
1. Describe the effects of climate change and fossil-fuel pollution on our patient's health.
2. Counsel patients how they identify and then reduce harmful exposures.
3. Use strategies for reducing associated health harms, such as patient education, legislative advocacy, and health system sustainability.
