Description:The free virtual event is hosted by the MMS Committee on Senior Physicians. The committee had a virtual event on October 9, 2024 re: Dietary Supplements. The attendees informed us that it was beneficial, and due to popular demand, we are bringing Part 2.
As your body changes as you age, the type and amount of nutrients needed may also change. Can dietary supplements make it easier to meet your nutritional needs to support healthy aging and help keep you feeling your best?
This event will explore dietary supplements in the areas of:
- Eye
- Obesity and Hormones
- Inflammation
Not all dietary supplements are created equal. Three physician experts will provide valuable insights, expert tips, and resources on how to be a savvy consumer as related to:
• myths and scientific-based facts
• considerations for product safety, bioavailability and accuracy
• requirements for claim substantiation
• interactions with food, prescription drugs etc
