Description:
Helpful information: This event will take place rain or shine unless there are thunderstorms. Any changes will be decided on Friday, July 26. based on the forecast. You can call Joppa Flats late Friday afternoon at 800-848-1111 to confirm that the trip is still scheduled. Make sure to check your voicemail if the weather looks iffy.
What to bring/wear: Wear warm clothing in layers – it is always cooler offshore. Wear rubber-soled shoes, a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Bring a camera, binoculars and/or a bird field guide if you have them. Feel free to bring snacks (but no alcohol is allowed on board). Snacks and drinks will also be available to purchase.
Directions to 54 Merrimac St/Newburyport Waterfront/Public Parking Lot - The dock is located at Hilton's Marina, near the Black Cow Tap & Grill at 54R Merrimac Street in Newburyport.
