Description:Click here to view flyer The Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS), in collaboration with the Rhode Island Medical Society (RIMS), offers the Annual Accreditation Conference to support the professional development needs of continuing medical education (CME) providers and system stakeholders. This activity provides directors, chairs, librarians, and other CME professionals an opportunity to develop strategies for planning educational activities that meet the needs of your learners, share best practices and strategies with your colleagues, and provide guidance on compliance with the Accreditation Criteria and policies. Objectives: ◾ Develop lifelong learning and self-assessment activities to create value for your CME program ◾ Identify and incorporate state-mandated educational requirements into your CME activities to meet the needs of your learners ◾ Recognize high-quality evidence and how it’s used to make treatment decisions ◾ Integrate the new Accreditation with Commendation Criteria into your CME activities and overall program Accreditation Statement The Massachusetts Medical Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AMA Credit Designation Statement The Massachusetts Medical Society designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
