Description:
Social media use has become widespread in the past several years, with a rapid increase in use by patients and physicians. Massachusetts Medical Society has developed guidelines for practical use by physicians. This talk will review some of the risks and benefits of social media use for physicians.

Learning Objectives:
1) Define social media and list popular platforms.
2) Recognize the risks and benefits of use.
3) Discuss Massachusetts Medical Society's best practices guidelines.
