Dementia is a much-feared topic because there is no specific medical cure.  Understanding of the multiple contributors to the dementias is a rapidly evolving field.  An active area of research involves a preventive approach.  Confronting difficult subjects such as driving and advance care planning is generally avoided.

Recognize the most common dementias other than Alzheimer’s Dementia
