Description:

Protecting our brains from head injuries, such as concussions, is extremely important, especially when we are young, because of the long-lasting impact it can have on our ability to think, say, and do as we want. The CDC estimates that 250,000 youths visit emergency departments each year for sport and recreation-related traumatic brain injuries. Additionally, adults are also not immune to concussions and may be slower to seek medical attention, exacerbating their symptoms.  This live webinar will help you understand the consequences of concussions, identify signs/symptoms, how to respond, and best practices for moving past a brain injury.
