Medical student and trainees - Join the MMS and its Committee on Global Health at their annual spring program!

This year’s topic is Strategies for Preparing, Implementing, and Maintaining a Global Health Project. The free event will take place virtually on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 6:30 – 8:00 PM and feature a presentation from Josh Drake, MD/MPH Candidate 2024, Tufts University School of Medicine about his successful global health project. After volunteering as an EMT at the Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Josh designed and developed the “Okoa Maisha / Save a Life Initiative” in collaboration with faculty from the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative and Tanzanian emergency physicians. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to hear from, interact with, and pose questions with an expert panel of global health project mentors
