Description:
This interprofessional education program, planned in partnership with the Norfolk District Attorney's Office, the Northeastern University Bouve College of Health Sciences School of Nursing - School Health Academy, School of Pharmacy, and the Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts, will provide participants with knowledge-based training on how to make more informed prescribing decisions, better identify pediatric patients at risk for substance use and overdose, and be able to assist those patients in navigating treatment and recovery.

Audience: All who provide care and access to medicine for pediatric patients in Norfolk County, including pediatricians, family practitioners, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, public school nurses and public high school athletic trainers.
