Description:
This lecture will provide an update on the Massachusetts Medical Society's (MMS) COVID-19 ongoing efforts to protect patients and health care workers and to advocate for and promote the sustainability of medical practice.  It will also address how the pandemic as well as the protests on police violence, have shone a light on the role of systemic and institutional racism as a critical determinant of health and wellbeing for our patients and our colleagues. Dr. Rosman will discuss the health and professional impacts of racism, and what the Society is doing to work toward becoming an antiracist organization through its Antiracism Action Plan, and how members can get involved. He will then take a few questions after the lecture.

Pre-registration is required, please contact Julianna Frodema at 800-522-3112, email: jfrodema@mms.org
