According to the World Health Organization, AGEISM refers to the stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination towards others or oneself based on age.
 
Join us to learn and discuss the impact of ageism on senior physicians and spouses/partners/significant others:
  • Evaluate why ageism is a prevalent, damaging, and insidious socio-health problem
  • Assess the latest research associated with ageism and challenges of assumptions and beliefs
  • Illustrate activities of meaningful engagement that help to move beyond ageism for senior physicians
